Clean Air Testing Services has completed the International Air Filtration Certifiers Association (IAFCA) Testing Program. The program covers NSF-49 testing of biological safety cabinets to manufacturer's specifications and procedures,CDC/NIH requirements, and other related industry processes utilized in the conduct of field services. Examinations are administered by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) through its National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies ( NICET). IAFCA is a member of the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA) and the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and has approved IAFCA testing policies and practices.
The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Biosafety Cabinetry Testing Program was initiated over 25 years ago at the request of the regulatory community,including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC),National Institutes of Health (NIH),and the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
The first phase of the program was the development of NSF/ANSI Standard 49 for the evaluation of Class II laminar flow biological safety cabinets. The standard was completed in 1976, followed by the implementation of a testing and certification program to that standard,titled the Biosafety Cabinetry Certification Program.
The third and final stage was completed in 1993, titled the Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier Accreditation Program.

Clean Air Testing Services is an authorized service representative for Clean Air Devices which include NuAire Inc, Baker Company, Germfree, Forma and Labconco Corporation.
We have successfully passed the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) seminar for Cleanroom Performance Testing and have trained ISO certified technicians to test and certify your cleanrooms to the 14644 series.Clean Air Testing Services has attained a degree from Triangle Technical Institute in Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (RHVAC) to work closely with project engineers during the construction and the certification phase of your cleanroom.
